KOLAS evaluates the technical competence of testing and calibration laboratories based on the general requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories and specific technical requirements of each field. Laboratories that demonstrate competence and meet the requirements of KOLAS are granted accreditation. Laboratories accredited by KOLAS are allowed to use the accreditation logo on their test reports for those tests in its scope of accreditation. And they are publicly listed in the KOLAS Directory and web site to allow customers to readily identify and access reliable testing and calibration services.
