I would like to start from the end; I don’t recommend anyone to stay at this hotel! I granted two stars though I believe the hotel doesn’t deserve more than one. I had some concerns from the very beginning when I noticed that the average of all reviews on Google was around 3; as a matter of fact, I didn’t choose this hotel, I was forced to take it as a last chance opportunity to enjoy a vacation in Istanbul. When we arrived to the hotel, we found that most of the front desk operators don’t speak English or a little but no fluency at all events. At first, they were smiling, nice and tried to provide all the necessary information to make our stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible, or at least that is what we thought. The check in was fine but the room we got was not tidy or clean. The second day when we returned to the hotel late in the evening we found the room in a total mess: uncleaned, the bed sheets unchanged, the dust everywhere, one towel missing, no bathroom small vials of gel shower or shampoo, etc. I spoke to the reception and complained…around 23h00, they sent someone to clean the room and fix the problem! In addition, the safe was out of order, the bathroom door produced noisy squeaks, and the fridge didn’t close! We reported all that to the reception and noticed that their responsiveness went down drastically after the check in! Among the facilities, they boast of a free swimming pool and a gym! Well, this is nothing but a joke! The swimming pool was deserted almost most of the time. The reason is simple: you have to bring down your own and unique towel! They don’t provide a towel! Then I asked what to do when we take a shower after swimming! In short, they showed no commitment or care to the free facilities! If I had to compare with another hotel at less than 100 meters from this one, we had access to all the facilities including sauna, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, Turkish hammam, etc. These facilities were not only free but they were maintained in perfect order, you get as many towels as you wish… Finally, the breakfast was a total disgrace…appalling! There was two dozens types of bread and pastries, different varieties of cheese and olive, and some salad! All the hot dishes were inedible…weird and unusual! I had to complain to the reception but they were totally indifferent and uninvolved! When I warned them that I will write and publish a review on Google Maps about my experience…they simple smiled! Although I had taken thousands of photos of the different places we have had the chance to visit, I took none of this hotel…just to give you an idea of my frustration and disgust! When you go to Istanbul, the charming and amazing city that I am never tired of visiting over and over, don’t choose this hotel unless you are addicted to misery!

The hotel Was great. The breakfast rich. The location super. The hotel employees friendly And helpful. Generaly speaking everything was up to our expectations.

I have read so many bad reviews about the hotel, but in tge matter of fact it is not that bad.. not so good neither too bad

Room cleaning isn't that good. They, sometimes, skip changing some towels and emptying the trash. My fridge was off, the safe was broken so I couldn't use either. However, The staff is helpful. The area around is lively, with many choices for food. There is a 24h- mini market and a laundry in the opposite building.

It is a good hotel. the best feature is the location near taksim square and a wide range of shops and services.
