The hotel is lovely, rooms are very spacious and the pools are all good sizes. Food is okay - haven't had a great meal here but its more than edible. The animation team can be a bit obnoxious; chanting "show time" repeatedly for 5 minutes whilst clapping, but their intentions are there. There's a handful of staff that are nice, whilst most seem to be overly eager for a tip, such as our bell boy who showed us to our room, and wouldn't leave until he had a tip. It's a really beautiful looking hotel, very green with places to drink right over looking the sea which is beautiful. One thing I really like - which may be strange to pick up on - is that they feed the cats and seem to like them - I've been to some hotels that treat animals like dirt but it seems to be quite an animal friendly hotel. I'd like to have seen a pool table and more facilities of that nature too.
Although this may seem more negative than positive, I've given this hotel a 4 because these sort of places are what you make of them, and we all had a fantastic time despite disliking certain aspects. Also, the drinks are really lovely.

Sunrise Queen was a lovely hotel to stay at. We previously stayed at a 5 star hotel in Bodrum, Turkey & it was not as nice as this hotel. Staff friendly & the hotel was very clean. Each room has a mini bar that is stocked daily. The cleaners were very good & left us ‘swans’ made out of our duvets. The private beach was lovely & security guards along the beach made it feel safe. Only one thing to be aware of are the rocks in the sea but you can quickly establish roughly where there are less. The Mexican restaurant was amazing & the waiters were very friendly with a good sense of humour. Would love to visit again & the pools were very clean & well looked after.

Beach is great, water is low for a good distance, which is great for kids. There are some big rocks in the water, beacause of protected turtles, but you can see them, as the water is mostly clear.
Rooms are large, pretty clean, but a little oldish.
Food is good, you have many options, but nothing special.
Stuff is friendly and speak mostly German and Russian, also English.
Overall, a nice experience.

Love the hotel, the facilities and the staff. The meals were very good with a large variety of international food. The kids loved the pool, slides, foam party with ice cream and waffles by the pool on a daily basis. Our room was clean and tidy and fridge stocked every day. The al-a-carte restaurants were great and a fantastic effort by the staff for my wife's birthday.
