It should not be a priority unless you want to bring along kids with you. It was mostly empty. Some reviews suggest it is a must visit place in Antalya which is definitely not the case. Only go if you are really really interested in seeing some old stone stone statues and graves. There is a small entry fee. Just go there if you don't have anything else to do tbh.

Packed with lots of artefacts from local excavations. The museum does a good job of of taking the visitor through a journey from antiquities right the way through to more recent civilisations. There are alot of statues to see, most of which are in excellent condition. There is a handset you can rent for 10 lira that's provides a decent enough audio description of artefacts. but you'll have to leave a form of ID as a deposit. The museum has a entrance fee of 35 lira per person which I felt was good value for money. If you're in to history and culture I would recommend this museum.

A very good museum showcasing a wide range of artefacts, statues, and ancient remains from all over Turkey. Before you enter all bags are to be put in a locker for security (make sure you cover your pin). The entry fee is reasonable and there is a cafe and gift shop at the end of the route through the museum. There is quite a lot to see in the gardens too in terms of ancient building blocks. The audio guide unfortunately is not available in English, which would have added value to the experience.

A well designed archeology museum with an impressive collection of mostly Lycian pieces and artifacts, there are also scluptures of Lycian, Greek and Roman antiquity originally from Perga, Olympos, Myra, Sillion etc. The museum also host a vast icon (East Roman religious artifacts) from Myra. Other collections of Caria, Phyrigia and Pamphilia are also being presented. And ofcourse Resting Herakles statue is a must-see!
